Recruiting Information

We are looking for talented student-athletes who want to play competitive college hockey. Players who want to play for Portland State University Hockey will have the chance to play for the ACHA division 2 league. The league spans throughout the United States and keeps expanding every year creating organized and entertaining competition for both players and fans alike.

Players have to be enrolled at PSU and taking at least 9 credits or more for undergraduates and 6 credits or more for graduates to play PSU hockey, all while maintaining a 2.5 grade point average and above.

As soon as dates are established for tryouts, we will post them along with the costs of tryouts. Tryouts are competitive in nature and on-ice sessions require full gear, including full mask and mouthpiece, to participate.

It is mandatory that players have hockey experience, due to the skill level being that of Junior A, B, Midget AAA, AA and High school players.
