Vikings lose to Texas 10-3

The Portland State University Vikings lose to the University of Texas Longhorns 10-3 on Wednesday afternoon. The loss was partly due to an absence of key players (Ross Gale, Pat Markunas, Harrison Edwards and J.J. York) and the addition of new players (Sam McDonald, Larry Draper and Andrew Gorski) still trying to work together with their new teammates. (more...)

PORTLAND, OR – The Portland State Vikings hockey team ended the year, 2007 with two back-to-back losses at Arizona State University and now start the Holiday break looking ahead to 2008.

Viks Lose to Sundevils 6-1

The Vikings lost their first matchup with the Arizona State Sundevils 6-1. The Viks hung with the Sundevils until they began to feel the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning. While feeling the effects of the carbon monoxide poisoning, the Viks gave up 5 third period goals. The two teams face off again today at 10:30 at the Oceanside Ice Arena. The game broadcast will begin at 10:00 am.

Viks Still Perfect at Home

The Portland State Vikings have yet to be defeated at home. The Viks are a perfect four for four at home after beating the Western Washington Vikings 6-2 on Friday night and 5-4 on Saturday night. The PSU Vikings are 6-2-0-1 (Wins, Loss, Ties, Overtime Loss) on the season and they now prepare for two games at Arizona State University on December 8th and 9th. (more...)

Vikings Games to be on “Viks Radio!”

November 14, 2007 -- The Portland State University Vikings Hockey Club is proud to announce that all remaining games in the 2007-2008 season will be broadcasted through the website (www.psuvikingshockey.com). The broadcast will be engineered by BWL Media LLC, who also represents the club in sponsorship advertising. The first broadcast will be this Friday when the Vikings face the Vikings of Western Washington. (more...)
